I’m Chair Number 2.
They call me Reeve.
I arrived in 2015, placed at North Bristol Sportsman’s Club in Sun Prairie, WI. I wasn’t the first outdoor wheelchair, but I knew I had an important job. I was here to help people explore—to roll through fields, trails, and places that once felt impossible to reach.
The day I carried my first rider was unforgettable. They climbed into my seat, placed their hand on my joystick, and pushed forward. The ground beneath my wheels felt different—grass, dirt, rocks—but I didn’t stop. My rider trusted me, and I made sure we kept moving.
Some days, I roll through peaceful open fields. Other days, I tackle rough terrain, proving that adventure is for everyone. I have carried hunters, hikers, explorers—people who just want to feel the fresh air and go farther than they ever thought they could.
Chair #1 started this journey, but now it’s my turn. I am Chair #2, and I roll forward, always.

As the first rays of dawn paint the sky with hues of gold and crimson, an all-terrain wheelchair awakens from its slumber, its sturdy frame humming with anticipation. Today's mission takes it into the heart of deer hunting country. Alongside seasoned hunters and their families, this trusty companion embarks on a journey of camaraderie and shared passion for the outdoors. The wheelchair navigates through the rugged terrain with ease, its wheels gliding over rocks and fallen logs as if traversing a smooth pavement. Its presence amidst the hunters and their families is not merely one of convenience but one of inclusion. It bridges the gap between physical limitations and the thrill of the hunt, ensuring that everyone can partake in this cherished tradition.
Throughout the day, the wheelchair bears witness to moments of profound connection between hunters and their families. It observes as fathers share their hunting knowledge with their sons, their voices echoing through the stillness of the forest. It senses the excitement of children as they eagerly scan the horizon for signs of deer, their eyes wide with wonder. And it feels the camaraderie that binds the hunters, their shared passion for the outdoors forging an unbreakable bond.
As the sun begins its descent, casting long shadows across the landscape, the wheelchair joins the hunters and their families around a crackling campfire. The air is filled with the aroma of freshly cooked venison, laughter, and stories shared under the starlit sky. In these moments, the wheelchair is not merely a piece of equipment but an integral part of the experience, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
As the embers of the campfire dwindle and the hunters and their families retire for the night, the wheelchair stands sentinel, its presence a testament to the power of inclusion. It has played its part in creating memories that will last a lifetime, ensuring that the thrill of the hunt is accessible to all. With a sense of satisfaction, the wheelchair settles into its resting place, ready to embark on another adventure when the sun rises once more.

"Mean Green John Kilian Machine"
I’m Chair 33 — OWC# J1.W.
But folks around here call me the Mean Green John Kilian Machine.
I was named after a man who walks the walk — or in this case, rolls the trail. John Kilian didn’t just volunteer — he got in the chair, felt the freedom, and said, "More people need this."
Since then, John’s helped haul trailers, check out gear, fix what’s broken, and smile with every client that gets a taste of outdoor freedom. He’s not just a volunteer — he’s part of this chair’s DNA.
I’ve got a 24" wide seat, green camo body, and armrests that raise together — so a transfer handle is a must. But once you’re in? You’re in good company.
Whether it’s ice fishing season or a warm day at the range, I roll with purpose. I’ve seen veterans return to traditions, kids light up at trapshooting events, and whole families connect in ways they thought were lost.
Chair 33 stands for loyalty, legacy, and access with a mission.
And if John’s name is on it ... You better believe it’s ready for action.
