Chair Number 8—OWC#8

I am Chair #8, known as OWC#8. My purpose? To provide access, mobility, and independence for those who seek adventure beyond the pavement.

I arrived in 2018 at the AAW Main Office in Mineral Point, WI, before making my way up to Barron County. My mission is clear—ensuring that outdoor spaces remain open to everyone, regardless of mobility challenges.

As an outdoor wheelchair, I’m built for rugged terrain. My sleek black design stands out, ready for action. With my right-side joystick, I offer smooth control, making navigation effortless. While I don’t have a CC back, my sturdy frame ensures stability and comfort for every rider.

I was made possible through a DNR/NRA match, a testament to the commitment of organizations that believe in access for all. Whether it’s exploring trails, hunting, or simply enjoying the fresh air, I’m here to make sure no one is left behind.

I am Chair #8—OWC#8, designed for access and built for adventure. Where will I go next?

"The Hulk"

I am Chair #23W, but you can call me The Hulk—big, bold, and built for power. Just like my superhero namesake, I am unstoppable, ready to smash through barriers and take on any terrain.

With my 24-inch wide frame and black-and-green design, I stand strong, ready to provide access to the outdoors for those who refuse to be held back. I don’t just roll—I dominate trails, fields, and rugged landscapes with sheer force.

I help riders experience the wild without limits. Whether it’s powering through tough terrain or standing tall at events, I make sure everyone gets their chance to explore.

Like the Hulk himself, I am built for strength, designed for action, and always ready to charge forward. No obstacle is too big, no adventure too tough—I am here to make sure the outdoors is open to all.

"Barron"

Hello, I am Chair #11, but everyone calls me Barron. I was the first outdoor wheelchair permanently assigned to the Blue Hills Sportsmen’s Club and the Barron County area, and I’ve been making connections ever since.
I love spending time at the range, helping people enjoy the outdoors and experience the thrill of target shooting. This summer, I had the chance to be part of the Barron County Fair, meeting new faces and showing off what I can do. From community events to quiet moments in nature, I thrive on adventure and companionship.
I look forward to many more outings, whether it’s at the range, the fairgrounds, or deep in the woods. Wherever my riders take me, I’m ready to roll!
I am Chair #11—Barron, built for access and always eager to explore.

"The Willy Wonka" - aka WWW"

“Come with me, and you’ll be, in a world of pure terrain liberation…”

I’m Chair 25W, but folks call me The Willy Wonka — because I bring the color, the chaos, and the kind of access that feels like magic.

I wear a bold purple and yellow splash coat and roll on a Gen I track system that’s been through everything from brush-filled trails to backcountry blinds. With my right-hand joystick, left tilt, and swing-arm footrest, I’m designed to move you and move with you.

You’ll find me at Blue Hills Sportsman’s Club, helping veterans chase new memories, kids explore wild spaces, and families reconnect across rugged ground.

“Wanna change the world? There’s nothing to it…”

Because Chair 25W isn’t just here for the photo op —

I’m here to hand out golden tickets to the outdoors.
