About the event
AAW's Vilas County Coalition Partner, Scholl Community Impact Center- The 2026 Mercer, Wisconsin 4th of July parade takes place on Saturday, July 4, featuring a 10 a.m. lineup and 11 a.m. start, traversing downtown along Hwy 51 from Hwy J to the Mercer Chamber building. The day includes a "Run for a Vet" 5K, festivities at Carow Park, and fireworks at dusk, based on and schedules. [1, 2, 3]
2026 Mercer July 4th Highlights:
Run for a Vet (5K/1 Mile): Starts at 8:00 a.m. at MECCA Trails.
Parade Lineup: 10:00 a.m. at Statehouse Circle (near the DNR Building).
Parade Start: 11:00 a.m. Theme is patriotic.
Fun at the Park: Starts at 2:00 p.m. at Carow Park with food, drinks, and games.
