Combo OWC/Trailer #3

About me

I’m Chair 3. That’s T-I-double-G-ER, and that spells Tigger!

Just like my namesake from Winnie the Pooh, I was built for adventure. I may not bounce like him, but I roll, climb, and conquer the outdoors with just as much enthusiasm!

When I first heard I was going to Wehr Nature Center, I thought… Where? My trailer carried me to my new home, and my driver finally said, “We’re here, Tigger! We made it to Wehr.” And there it was—a big sign that said Wehr Nature Center. The first people I met, Carly and Emily, welcomed me with big smiles. Their mission was clear: No one should be left behind in nature. That made me feel incredible—I wasn’t just a chair. I was freedom, excitement, and a chance for everyone to explore the outdoors!

Visitors admired my bright orange and black stripes, saying, “Wow! You look just like Tigger!” And I couldn’t agree more—I stand bold, cheerful, and always ready for action! I may not have rubber on top or springs on the bottom, but I’m strong, steady, and built for adventure!

Then came my first ride. My joystick moved, my wheels turned, and I trounced, pounced, and bounced (in my own way) through rocks, bricks, and woodchips. I tackled every trail with determination—because adventure is what Tiggers do best!

Now, I’ve moved to Rock County, ready for my next adventure. Who knows where I’ll roll next? But one thing is for sure—wherever I go, I’ll bring energy, excitement, and outdoor freedom to everyone I meet.

For those who don’t know Wehr it is—it’s time you find out!

Love, T-I-double-G-ER… that’s me, Tigger!

During my time at Wehr, I met someone special—Nick. He was an intern helping others learn about accessibility in nature. At first, he was hesitant to transfer from his wheelchair, but when he did… we rolled all the way to the waterfall. His first time seeing it up close! I was thrilled—because if there’s one thing Tiggers love, it’s making people smile!
