Timeline:
2013 - A group of individuals from Dane County discussed the idea of outdoors access and how to help individuals with mobility issues.
2014 - Dane County Pheasants Forever (DCPF) welcomed Access Ability Wisconsin under its nonprofit status as an initiative.
2017 - AAW became a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization in May.
AAW's objective is to provide recreational opportunities for physically challenged people, including wheelchair users, who want to enjoy the Wisconsin outdoors.
Outdoor wheelchairs with a trailer (either a single or event) are available for all ages and those with temporary or permanent mobility issues. Our clients have been daily wheelchair users, those with walking difficulties, kids, and adults from 21 to 101.
S0 that anyone with a physical disability may have access an outdoor wheelchair (OWC) as needed, we work with -

Individuals and organizations to use our all-terrain (OWC) for their outdoor adventures; and
